With exactly the minimum, every card has the same words in a different order. Lines still vary, but everyone completes a blackout on the same call, so add more words for blackout rounds.
How to choose good bingo words
- Keep them short. One to three words fit best and are easy to spot. Phrases up to 40 characters work, especially at two cards per page.
- Make every word distinct. "Cookie" and "cookies" or "gift" and "present" cause arguments. The maker removes exact repeats, but near-duplicates are up to you.
- Match the reader. Picture-able words for kids, inside jokes for adults, vocabulary for students.
- Mix common and rare. For watch-along games (marking things that happen), include both frequent and rare moments so the game doesn't end in minutes.

Phone and printed cards together
From the caller, create a join link. Players scan a QR code and get their own card on their phone, numbered after the printed cards so no card repeats. You can limit how many phone cards are handed out, and extra players join a waitlist.
Designing your word cards
