Holiday bingo keeps the season's fun (snow days, hot cocoa, gifts, and celebrations) without assuming everyone celebrates Christmas. How to run bingo at an office holiday party
Before the party
- Pick a style. Watch-along bingo runs in the background all party long. Called bingo works best as a planned 20 to 30 minute activity.
- Review the list and remove anything that doesn't fit your team. Add a few safe inside jokes, like the name of the office plant.
- Print a few more cards than guests so latecomers can join.
- Set prizes and rules, including what happens if two people win at once.
During the party
- Hand out cards and pens at the door with a one-line explanation.
- For watch-along cards, set a check-in time, like just before dessert, when anyone with a line claims a prize.
- For called bingo, have one host read from the caller sheet and check winners against the checklist.

With a 40-word list and 25 cards in play, the first single-line bingo comes after a median of about 12 words, four corners after about 18, and a blackout needs about 37 of the 40 words.
